No cheaper than any of the others and you get absolutely nothing that they claim you are paying for. > > Our experience with Lytx has been absolutely horrendous from the very beginning—and it only got worse from there. When we initially ordered our fleet cameras, they were shipped across the country to a completely unrelated address. Once we finally received them, not a single device was labeled, leaving us to play a guessing game with which camera went in which vehicle. The installation process was nothing short of a disaster. It dragged on for months and was riddled with issues so severe that Lytx had to fly two engineers out to our facility because their own tech team couldn’t figure it out. The irony? We eventually solved the problem ourselves—then Lytx wanted to come back to learn how we did it. Once we were finally up and running, things somehow got even worse. The software is unreliable at best. Triggered events are inaccurate more often than not, and the AI misreads situations so frequently that it's become a complete waste of our safety manager’s time to sift through the nonsense every morning. Their customer service is equally disappointing—outsourced, slow, and mostly unhelpful. They rarely have answers on the spot and instead open support cases that take weeks (if ever) to resolve. But the biggest red flag? The camera system only records triggered events—despite our contract clearly stating they would store two years of footage. This is a serious misrepresentation and a breach of what we were promised. Bottom line: Lytx has cost us time, money, and immense frustration. If you’re looking for a reliable and responsive video telematics solution—look elsewhere.
