It is compatible with Oracle, we were able to customize almost everything, and we could use it for grant making and seeking. AmpliFund is a must-have tool for any organization that is managing a large amount of grants. It is user-friendly and the AmpliFund team is amazing\! The implementation process was the smoothest process I have been involved in during my 10 years in local government. > > **Inconvénients**: Most everything is customizable, however there are some standard fields that cannot be removed. > > AmpliFund's entire team is top notch; their customer service is personable and solution oriented. We had been doing paper applications and Amplifund did allow us to make this process all online and much more streamlined. We had some issues with reviewers not having the right permissions and having to call several times to get this resolved but this was a beneficial feature. > > **Inconvénients**: First the proposal and the sales people assured our agency that the specific functionality the we were require the software to have--mainly being able to produce a report which would include subrecipient expenses being rolled up into the parent grant budget reports. This was never available and we were promised that we would have this 2.5 years ago. Next we were told that the application we were taking for subawards would automatically be connected to the parent grant so that information put into one system would be reflected in the other. Also this did not happen until the second round of applications. The first applications had to re-entered into the grant management system by hand. Finally the grant management module never worked for us. We were never able to create any of the reports that were suppose to be available. When we created reports according to their instructions no data was shown. When they made system upgrade information was lost or made inaccessible following the upgrade. Amplifund in general actually made it more difficult for us to manage our subrecipient awards that the excel spreadsheet we had been using. I would not recommend this product for managing subrecipients > > Tech support was not responsive. Their initial response was to always give you the instructions in their printed material even if you indicated that you had tried this solution and it had failed. Several time we described specific issues we had encountered and were told the software couldn't be doing what we were saying--deleting information on its own, changing currency values. However when we were finally able to do a screen share with their tech support and showed them what we were seeing they finally believed us. The tech support was slow to respond particularly when issues were elevated to a higher level. There was no progress reports on the issues and when they finally did get back to us more than a month later we would have to figure out which issue they were finally addressing. The company CEO, when we were finally able to communicate with him was very responsive and wanted to correct the situation but even after that the sales person still did not clearly comprehend how bad the product had been for us to use. Integrating that software with the grant management tool would greatly help this often time-consuming process. > > Overall the training and assistance our organization received before implementation was extremely thorough. We found the Amplifund team to be committed to finding resolutions, committed to ensuring we understood the training and committed to our organization's satisfaction with the platform. It has made things like annual audits so much easier.
