When it was finally time to cancel our monthly subscription to Chargebee, we cancelled our subscription well in advance of the next renewal, and we were still RENEWED FOR ANOTHER MONTH AFTER CANCELLATION. We brought this to their attention and they REFUSE TO REFUND US. As a subscription box company, we're up-to-date on all of the industry standards, and they are NOT FOLLOWING LEGAL GUIDELINES FOR CANCELLATIONS. While the 'Starter' plan is great for small businesses, the jump to the next tier is significant. Additionally, the revenue-based overage fees feel like a 'success tax'—the more you grow, the more they take.
