We have such specific needs that some of this program does not work well for us. It is hard to use some of the functions that would be really helpful if we could manage them.

Metal Integrity Review

Commentaires : We would definitely recommend MIE Trak to anyone in the metal fabrication industry.

Avantages :

For businesses in the metal fabrication industry MIE Trak is an excellent business system. All modules are relatively easy to use.

Inconvénients :

The report writing is not very user friendly.

Avantages :

It's extensive and covers most of what you'd need to do in an ERP system. Customer support is readily available.

Inconvénients :

Not intuitive, takes a long time to learn, too busy, slow. Although customer support is available my experiences have been mixed, the techs are too fast on their end and assume you know everything they're doing and talking about, didn't end up helping me.

I Love MIE-Track

Commentaires : MIE is an experience by itself. It can be a simplistic or powerful to integrate. It allows you to choose which modules and capabilities that are important to your organization. We currently have not integrated the accounting module because our CPA has a proprietary application. The more time I spend with MIE and the great people on the support line, I find that you are never finished with the implementation. I now know all the talented people at MIE including [sensitive content hidden] and others. They always assign my tickets to the most informative person for the subject, and the response time is very fast.

Avantages :

The features in MIE that I love the best are the work orders with bar codes. This allows the plant workers to easily log in /out of the various sequences. Prior to MIE we had painful hand written time sheets. Other great features is the shipping/invoicing that can generate 100s of shipping labels in minutes. The inventory module is simple and updates inventory in real time. I really love the daily back-ups so I feel our data is always secure and protected.

Inconvénients :

I struggled with the quoting module at first to allow the material cost to be nested across parts for real costing, however MIE is not a post processor and we use SigmaNest for nesting.

Tickets

Commentaires : Considering this has not been in use 1 year, I am surprised at our progress. Overall experience is good and software works. We are still learning how to best use it in our company.

Avantages :

During implementation we had questions and features needing support. For these we go online and issue a ticket - support request. I have been impressed at the quality and speed of ticket responses. The mobile warehouse is great and our team loves it. The kiosk for tracking wo progress is great and was easy to implement.

Inconvénients :

Some of the features require multiple screens and buttons to execute. The ECO process is limited and does not appear to be written for a company manufacturing products under revision control.

Excellent Shop Software

Commentaires : My overall experience has been excellent. Anytime I have an issue, I submit a ticket, and one of the reps will contact me same day to help me fix it or find a better way. Every single person I have dealt with has been AMAZING! They are so helpful and knowledgeable and they will stick with the ticket until it is resolved or another avenue has been found that works better. Hands down, their customer service is the best!

Avantages :

MIE Trak Pro is user friendly, easy to navigate, has multiple functions that fit our industry, but most importantly, we are able to track each job/work order from start to finish. Customer service is the very best I have ever used.

Inconvénients :

The only issues I have had with MIE Trak Pro are the few times I needed something that was not part of the design...usually related to the employee timeclock recordkeeping. Thankfully, we have found ways around it with the excellent customer service team at MIE Trak.

Mietrak Pro Review

Avantages :

This software is very reliable and capable of generating many reports to help us with daily tasks and decisions. Most importantly the support we receive from the team at MIE is excellent.

Inconvénients :

There is nothing I dislike about Mietrak, however, it's only as good as the info you put in, so everyone has to be on board.

MIE Trak Pro

Commentaires : Although we are still in a relatively infant stage of our MIE Trak Pro journey, we are already reaping the benefits of having a flexible, user friendly ERP system. We have a clear vision of where we want to be in terms of MRP and works order management and we have every confidence that MIE Trak Pro and its excellent support team will help us to achieve those goals.

Occasionally bugs aren't picked up prior to updating to new build.

Fantastic program

Commentaires : I recommend MIE Trak due to it's ease of use and fluidity. I've had a great experience with MIE, only issues I've had are issues that aren't the programs fault.

Ease of use, accessories available to make processes all digital, fluidity of the program.

None that I can think of. There's still a lot of MIE I have yet to explore.

Adding Structure to an Agile Solutions Based Advanced Manufacturing Company

Commentaires : MIE Trak has enabled us to take make a huge growth transition in our business. We are an agile, design-based manufacturing company, and always found it too difficult and time-consuming to put processes around what we did on a day to day basis. We persevered with a fragmented and inconsistent collection of spreadsheets for far too long. Now, working through MIE Trak right from the quoting stage, all information is captured from sales intent right through to manufacturing then delivery, giving our people a consistent framework to work within.

Avantages :

Simplicity and ease of use.

Inconvénients :

The distance between us and the vendor has sometimes made it difficult in terms of support and we have had to work things out ourselves. Local support for the product would be much better.

MIE ERP software

Commentaires : I have used MIE for many years and have recommended the software to other companies.

Avantages :

The total control over our business. It answers all the questions needed to be in control.

Inconvénients :

Not checking for any issues when updating the software.

Changing software is never fun but these guys were great.

Commentaires : We consolidated from using three separate software systems to using one that performs all those functions and more.

Avantages :

It is an all in one software, you can use what you want and use other features later as your ready. It is very capable. The software is very intuitive, things are where you would expect them to be.

Inconvénients :

We often quote long lists of parts and quoting many items at one time can be very time consuming.

The software has allowed us to grow our business and meet the demands of our customers.

Commentaires : Increased sales, true understanding of part cost, and most importantly, TRACK-ABILITY!

Mie Trak pro has worked with us to better understand what is going on in our shop and allowed us to accurately know where to improve.

Inconvénients :

There is so many features it makes us feel we need more work in order to use them all. There could be an ai assistant that will do your job but then again thats what they pay me for.

Commentaires : Team is very helpful and will help you use the software to adapt to your business model. We chose Mie Trak after talking with some of their current customers who were/are very happy with its performance. I would strongly advise anyone looking at new ERP software to speak with some current users as a reference.

Avantages :

The development team has built in functionality that caters to any business model. Any time we have questions about the best way to use a function within the software someone take the time to understand how it can be best suited to our business.

Inconvénients :

It would be great if we could export an ACH file with vendor bank acct # and routing # to upload for EFT payments. This is currently a manual process that is time-consuming.

The support has been great! Our ability to customize the software to fit our business needs is one of the great features of the software.

Inconvénients :

The interface can be a bit clunky at times and does not have the nice GUI that you would see in a Microsoft or Quickbooks product.

User Friendly Sofware and great customer support

Commentaires : allowed us to switch over from a cumbersome system with little to no support from the vendor with little to no downtime and a short learning curve. Enjoy the quick responses from the entire team at Mie Solutions

Avantages :

User Friendly by being easy to learn and move around in orders. Inventory can be adjusted at invoice creation allowing us to quickly fix inventory count issues

Inconvénients :

Mostly me just learning the ins and outs, so far no real issues not handled by customer service. We have had some issues with the format of some of the documents but support at MIe Trak has quickly addressed

Very easy to use. User friendly. Going from screen to screen is very easy and understandable. No question alot easier and practical.

Inconvénients :

Slight lag between screens. Icons can better be described. Also, pop screens that prompt you or remind you of an open order. or P.O. could be helpful.

Great product at a great price

Commentaires : We looked at a lock of products before choosing Mie Trak Pro. All the products are very similar, but Mie Trak was a much better cost. The support is great. They go above and beyond for their customers.

The system requires you to both: Save and Paste. This seems redundant. Sometimes the program is a little slow.

Great Product, Excellent Customer Service

Avantages :

The willingness to help make their product fit the needs of their customers. We are able to use to product for all aspects of our business from Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing to AS9100 level Quality Management.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I think that could use improvement would be the documentation and training. More involved explanations of new builds and the changes that occur and how they may affect users. Better training videos with more detailed explanations of all fields and how they interact with one another and where they information is being pulled from. The training videos cover the basics but do not go into much detail or cover "special" users who may need to adjust the way they are used.

Excellent software and organization

Commentaires : After a year-long search we stumbled upon MIE Trak. We found it perfect for our application. Since it was designed around sheet metal fabrication (our industry), MIE Trak has all the functionality that we wanted. For us, it is a perfect balance that offers all the flexibility we want without being so complex that we are overwhelmed. Their support staff was wonderful on getting our data migrated into MIE Trak and initial report customization setup. The ongoing support ticket system also works very well. We are called back in a reasonable time and the solutions to our problems (often of our own creation) are usually quick. I find MIE Trak to be quite powerful and intuitive and it has enabled us to have better control over our operation. We found a system that will help us operate the way WE want to as opposed to having to change the way we operate to fit the functionality of a computer system.

When we link a file to a work order or sales order, if you move a folder that you have linked to the system you can not open it.

Commentaires : Loved this software and would use it again if given the chance

Avantages :

The real time info and the ease of use. Very user friendly. I loved being able to get a quick snap shop of projects running through the shop and know exactly where we stood in real time. The shop personal were also impressed with its ease of use.

Inconvénients :

Had trouble getting the shipping scanners to communicate with the software. It took several months before the bugs were finally worked out but once they were, they were awesome.
