Essential Tool for Foresight Activites and Managing Portfolio of Projects

Commentaires : I have found ITONICS to be an invaluable tool for the foresight activities after having established the software within our business line two years ago. In addition, we recently started to track and manage our internal projects to have a better portfolio view of our activities. The platform offers a wide range of features and with it our ability to anticipate industry shifts and continuously improve our products has been tremendous. The visualizations provide a structured overview of our information to facilitate better decision making and also strategic planning in terms of product improvements.

Avantages :

What I like most about the product is its powerful visualizations like the radar and the matrix and the connectivity of these data points. The platform is highly configurable which was ideal as some changes needed to be made during the softrolllout. With the landing pages, we were able to guide users and specifically show what was relevant for the stakeholder group. In terms of service, I greatly appreciate the support of all customer facing teams, their commitment and dedication to bring out the best for us.

Inconvénients :

Setting up the platform took more time and effort than we expected. It was a bit of a challenge, but the ITONICS support was there to guide us through the process. While some features are missing, the product team is constantly improving the product which is great to see.

Clear & structured, easy to adjust the tool by yourself (smaller configurations), great support by customer manager who always has ideas about how to meet our needs

Inconvénients :

Vulnerability to (repeated) bugs, some of which are discovered late and by chance or cannot be resolved on the live platform despite efforts limited roadmap function & integration with other tools

Avantages :

Itonics depicts the whole innovation process drom the first weak trends/signals to innovation fields, opportunities and cases. Everything is in one place - we call it the single source of truth.

Inconvénients :

I‘m missing a button on an entity page back to the entity overview. F.e.: I‘m looking at a single trend and would like to go back to the trends overview page. Now i have to go to the menu and click on „trends“, which leads me to the top of the list - even though I was looking at trends located in the middle of the list.Plus, once you know how to handle the backend of the tool, it‘s not that hard to make changes. But if you don‘t use it regularly, it‘s quite hard to find what you are looking for.

The possibilities are huge, which can be owerflowing for customers as well as for the application owner. ITONICS' dev ops team improves both the possibilities and the UX - and also improve specific needs.

Avantages :

ITONICS Innovation OS has been a game-changer for our innovation efforts, digitizing our idea collection and collaboration across multiple organizations. The ideation and foresight modules specifically help with scouting trends and technologies making it a strong solution to aid strategic decision making and fostering a culture of innovation. The platform is flexible enough to deal with our needs: We use the ITONICS Innovation OS as trend research and reporting tool, which both is possible. The very friendly support, I'd rather say our collabs, are great - love to work with you guys!

Inconvénients :

Not the easiest backend due to the complexity. To keep up, regular usage is necessary. Customization of the landing page is possible, but coding skills are required to do so.

A Must-Have for Foresight Activities

Commentaires : ITONICS has been great to improve cross-functional collaboration, providing the tool and insights that are needed to drive our internal projects and tasks forward and identify one place, where all the current information is stored.

Avantages :

For our activities within our team, the platform and especially the visualizations like the radar are the most valuable feature. In addition, having the development of signals over time, has helped us to be automatically notified about developments in a particular domain.

Inconvénients :

As ITONICS offer quite a big range of features, it was a bit overwhelming at first and required some time to fully understand and especially utilize the capabilities.

Successful implementation of trends radars within one year

I appreciate the professional and timely support of Itonics, recommendations are based on the experience of Itonics and the exchange of ideas regarding the further development of the tool

Inconvénients :

I miss the possibility to create nice plots for presentation in the tool, e.g. from the radars or a nice representation of the trends in the Martrix. Furthermore, I would like to see a simple and beautiful representation of the results in the network graph.

Commentaires : From beginning to end it is an excellent product with a great team. Love the radars and roadmaps and matrices. Eacy to configure and flexible to our needs. Looking forward to continued engagement to get it embedded in our company.

Innovative, easy to use and configure, flexible, perfect for our needs as a research company. The onboarding team are very good and easy to work wth.

Inconvénients :

Not much it is very good. Its a fast moving product in continuous development with lots of new ideas to add.

Would choose again

Avantages :

The platform is highly customizable. The options are many, the functions in most cases good and well thought out. The platform really enables us to work with different people on many different topics. Especially the customer service is a huge plus. Salome and Matthias are a big help in making our use-case as good as possible. They are very invested and interested in our success. The first-level support by Franzi also works like a charm.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the features are not consistent. The translations to DE and FR still need improvement. The platform could be further optimized for mobile use.

Commentaires : Itonics offer a strong team to work with, a core product that can be versatile and relatively straightforward to set up, and a platform which can enable programme processes.

Avantages :

The set up, configuration and collaborative features have been integral to our programme over the last two years. The import and export features are very efficient too.

Inconvénients :

There are significant features gap in relation to the visualisation of signals and ability to generate insights from the platform. Also, the pricing model can be confusing (modules move in and out of the core each year) and could be simplified.

Commentaires : The tool is a real help in everyday work. The cooperation is based on partnership and our wishes are implemented very quickly whenever possible.

Avantages :

The application and presentation of the required content is very good. ITONICS helps a lot in everyday life as well as in the presentation of the portfolio. In addition, the interaction with the employees (including support) is great. Also the opportunities to change something is simple und the change requests are done very fast.

Inconvénients :

Nothing worth mentioning. Every Tool has it's limits, but there is nothing that bad, that i would it call as cons

Itonics presents the most complete, end-to-end innovation platform I have seen and used on the market. It's articulate and effective vision aligns with our innovation strategy and can be customised to fit any workflow.

Inconvénients :

With great customisability, comes great set-up requirements. Itonics is very detailed and can take a while to configure.
