Quality 3-D modeling software that is inexpensive and user friendly
Commentaires : Fusion is an entry level product from Autodesk. It is not as "fancy" as Autodesk inventor or SolidWorks, but I promise you that it can do 95% of the most common modeling tasks that most people will need. The price point is perfect for company users so that nobody will complain about expensive software. The software lacks good simulation capabilities, but that is to be expected for the price point.I have convinced management at my company to cancel 3 license keys for a more expensive modeling tool and simultaneously get 5 other user licenses for Fusion 360 at a fraction of the cost. We haven't missed a beat, and now I have more people available to create the needed drawings for execution tasks and 3D models for FEA and CFD.
Avantages :
Fusion 360 is inexpensive and handles 99% of the modeling needs that I have. The user interface is simple and intuitive. It strikes a good balance between having what you really need easily available with minimal hunting as opposed to having a congested user interface with thousands of options that are all one click away if you can manage to find the right "button".
Inconvénients :
One previous con with Fusion 360 was not directly related with the software but rather with the updating experience. During the first update, my IT team struggled to the point I almost decided to cancel the subscription and switch to OnShape which is cloud based and doesn't require my IT team to do anything. To be fair to AutoDesk, I have never had problems updating the hobbyist version of 360 on my personal laptop. The last couple of updates were more easily managed by my IT team, so there might have been a learning curve for them. So this doesn't seem to be an issue anymore thankfully.Another previous con was related to software capabilities. At first, I really despised the lack of ability to incorporate weld symbols into the drawings. However, Fusion 360 added that capability and now I can provide detailed drawings with weld symbols without having to copy-paste pictures of weld symbols into the drawing. This too has been resolved and so it is no longer an issue either. The only remaining con I have with Fusion 360 is the simulation capabilities. I had moderate hopes that the FEA tool would be useful, but it seems to be linked to a limited amount of credits and limited types of simulation such as liner-FEA. It really seems like AutoDesk is just trying to "check the box" to say that Fusion 360 can perform FEA. Don't waste your time with the Simulation tools in Fusion 360. Find another tool for that such as SimScale, Abaqus, Ansys, etc.

The perfect starter software for CAD
Commentaires : Fusion 360 is a perfect software to introduce the user to professional CAD, and its similarities with AutoCAD allow users to jump into more advanced work with a minimal learning curve.
Avantages :
Fusion has a simple UI, easier to understand than Solidworks, making it better for those looking to start out in CAD work.
Inconvénients :
While Fusion 360 is a beginner software, it is not industry standard like AutoCAD, and does lack some more advanced tools. Other than that, it is very beginner friendly, and does perform better on lower end systems.
Powerful Design Tool
Commentaires : The intuitive interface makes it easy to dive into design work, and I appreciate the powerful features for collaboration, simulation, and rendering
Avantages :
Its user-friendly interface that makes design easy, along with powerful features for collaboration, simulation, and rendering that truly enhance my projects
Inconvénients :
Limited customization options, and the steep learning curve, especially since it relies heavily on a stable internet connection
Horrible program
Commentaires : Horrible, its expensive, unclear and annoying
Avantages :
Nothing, its expensive, unclear and annoying
Inconvénients :
Everything is wierd, nothing is clear, you have to look everything up, even how to move the camera. Other programs are so much more logic, you can just use them without training, but Fusion 360 is super frustating.

Top-rated features for kinematics and simulation
Commentaires :
We're an Robotics based Ed-tech startup with the help of which we're creating robotics and other technical solutions for our customers. Therefore, a lot of R&D we do, we create each and every single part or component of a robot in the software.
We're rendering the models, creating scenarios and simulating in real time in order to get the right design values and material selection for our product
Avantages :
1. I've been using this software to create the kinematic links and simultaneously creating the mechanism joints resulting in getting the desired motion, I want to show in a simulation 2. With the help of it's feature recognition tool, it's easy to design each and every single part and can align them in a single tree 3. Easy to access shortcuts helps an advanced user to design components more quickly
Inconvénients :
As this software a cloud-based, it requires high-speed internet to stay logged in while designing and rendering the whole model. Constant updating is one thing that I'm concerned cause it popped out in the middle of your work

good 3d software for hobby
Commentaires : I used fusion to model components for 3D printing
Avantages :
very simple and intuitive interface, easy to take the first steps
Inconvénients :
being a hobby program it is not easy to make complex projects. Some commands are missing or difficult to find

My experience with FUSION 360
Commentaires : My experience was perfect, I am not really into the 3d design world, but I learned this software for university and to solve some everyday problems. It took me many hours to get familiar with all the tools and options, but after learning it, it's pretty simple to use it. I have used it to design pieces to prepare some things, and it worked great.
Avantages :
With Fusion it is possible to create new things from scratch and make them real. Once you know how to use the cad and 3D functions, it is possible to model any kind of piece in many materials; then it can be rendered or transferred to other pieces of software to manufacture it. It is not easy at all to learn it from scratch, because it has many features, but a great advantage it that there is a huge amount of learning material on YouTube or in the adobe community.
Inconvénients :
The main drawback maybe be the price, if you don't have access to a student or enterprise account, it could be pretty expensive. Anyway, the product is extremely complete and user-friendly, so is worth it. The other point is that it is not easy at all to learn it from scratch, but the internet is plenty of learning material.
Very good!
Commentaires : Very good, I really like it, very practical!
Avantages :
The software is really good! I like how easy it is for 3D drawings and paper prototyping.
Inconvénients :
One thing that bothers me a lot is version control, because there are days when I use Fusion on the PC and days when I use the online version, and when I go to use it on the PC I end up having to update Fusion, because my project doesn't open. An automatic update would be ideal, or an option to keep the version I want to use.
Easy to use for beginners and advanced engineers
Avantages :
Great UI. Easy to use. A lot simpler compared to other contemporary CAD software.
Inconvénients :
Not sophisticated and can to be relied upon for complex designs...

Know the Fusion 360
Commentaires : It is good working with Fusion 360 it made more eat to design the components while compared to autocad and creo. It also provides many advanced features than the other design softwares.
Avantages :
All the features in Fusion 360 are available in tool ribbon on the top, this software is user-friendly and it helps in developing many design model in manufacturing processes.
Inconvénients :
While making the changes in the already saved drawing can be improved.Other than that it is very good to use.
An Excellent Tool for Designing 3d Prints and CAD Prototypes
Commentaires : In the context of Fusion being a tool for novices, it is an excellent tool to start designing in to learn the ins and outs of CAD and 3D modeling.
Avantages :
Fusion is a hybrid parametric modeling program offered by Autodesk. Fusion is the more entry level offerings in the Autodesk lineup, being simpler to use compared to their other offerings like Maya and 3DSMax, albeit while fulfilling a different role. One of the main benefits of Fusion 360 is that it is free. After then end of the trial you can choose to continue using the software as a hobbyist for free, allowing you to use it so long as you do not monetize the models created in Fusion. Being free, there is plenty of documentation and tutorials available to get started on Fusion and begin using it for CAD design. One of the areas where Fusion shines is for 3d printing, creating suitable printable models with ease. Fusion integrates with many models of 3d printers so that they can be directly printed from the program. For unsupported printers, Fusion can also export 3d printable formats such as .STL files for the printer to use. This is usually preferable anyways, as it allows for more flexibility compared to printing right in Fusion.
Inconvénients :
Fusion is a hybrid modeler, combining the features of a direct modeler and parametric modeler to create a more streamlined and easy to use tool overall. This means that some of the more complex parametric modeling tools and functions are missing from Fusion, making it unsuitable for more serious CAD design. While the interface is clean, many functions are often hidden behind too many mouse clicks that can make the program hard to navigate at times. this can be particularly confusing for those unaccustomed to 3D modeling or CAD software.

The best CAD tool for hobbyists and anyone who wants to make something
Commentaires : I first used Fusion 360 as an undergrad because it was free for students, and later found out that it was also free for hobbyists. I love that approach to software, because I believe anyone should be able to dream something up and make it; Fusion 360 just provides one of the most powerful tools for that development process. I've used it to design robot parts, program machine toolpaths, and modify CAD designs from free libraries for fun. I really enjoy using it.
Avantages :
Fusion 360 set out to be the best integrated CAD and design software, and it certainly has achieved a lot of its goals. While not as high-powered as top-tier CAD programs, it holds its own and is uniquely designed with the user in mind. I love Fusion 360's cloud-based system; without having to store files locally, I can log in on any machine that has Fusion 360 and access my projects. The interface is clean and easily customized, and the tools are intuitive. There is also an active community that is great at answering questions, and a lot of YouTube tutorials put out by Autodesk and others that fully explore Fusion 360's functionality.
Inconvénients :
Because Fusion 360 is constantly being updated and new developments are being added regularly, sometimes you will open it up after a few weeks without using it and the interface will be different. If you're trying out a preview feature, you might not get to keep it if the development team decides to go in a different direction. But this is rare.

I use this for prototyping AND teaching children how to design 3D prints!
Commentaires : I've really been able to take my modeling and prototyping and even teaching STEM students to the next level.
Avantages :
Fantastic ease of use, easy to teach and learn. Everything is in places that makes sense and you can create models based on measurements very easily. The software is designed to go right to 3D printers and even CNC machines. Lot's of options for modeling types/contexts such as parametric and even sculpting primitives. The cloud platform makes it very easy to access your work from other computers/devices.. One of the most useful features for me is the fact it handles threads so well, easy to 3D print and have parts properly screw together. I tested over 30 different modeling software packages before I settled on this. No regrets.
Inconvénients :
The only real gripe I have is with the overall model of subscription services, I'd rather pay and own this type of software but I understand I am getting real time patches and updates.
