One of the standout features I liked most about Raildiary was its intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Syncing is an issue sometimes but very rare, no autosave yet but is coming.

Simple - It can make the complex work simple
Commentaires : Raildiary can replace traditional handwritten site reporting with an electronic system that is reliable and more accurate.
Avantages :
- Simplicity. The concept is so simple and it works- It minimises the errors, and paperwork and produces clean site records that can actually read- No room to miss contra charges, extra work, or unplanned works if managed properly- It can improve the collaboration and team work as it connects levels- Attentive client support from the Raildiary team [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. They really take effort to improve your project.
Inconvénients :
- It is not integrated with other project prgramme tools. - It minimises the errors but never the 0. the site allocation is directly linked to the cost. if data is entered incorrectly it can change your cost data and you may be projecting incorrect data to your client- it would not detect or notify when there are errors such as duplicate entries.- there can be glitching errors with Android OS- a designated administrator will be needed

The rail diary we use at balfour Beatty on nights when we are on track is easy to fill out , it’s self explanatory, quick and we can upload all the information we want to

Commentaires : as a new user i am liking it very much and i think it will be a great advantage to me in my job and to the company as a whole
Avantages :
I found the site diary features good and the team are happy to work with us if we feel that another aspect/feature could be adjusted or added to help our reporting. As being a new user it is a little learning curve the first couple of times but its like that with anything and i think this system will be very useful for the business
Inconvénients :
as stated above we are new user's but looking at it i think it will be very beneficial to our works

Rail Diary review
Commentaires : The team are so lovely and helpful, they are always there to answer questions, it doesn't take days to get a reply back
Avantages :
-You can add photos that are thousands of words, the photos can be used as evidence and they are real-time which supports writing - Easy to explain how to use -Can use it offline
Inconvénients :
The unit of measure, sometimes this is tricky to match and activity to the measurement

Idiot proof even someone with zero experience could use it

I can’t really find fault but if I did it would be you have less options on the app than the web page

Commentaires : Makes reporting easy as it can be carried out throughout the shift and photographs uploaded instantly when taken through the app
Avantages :
most of the information about the shift can be pre loaded and checked prior to the shift and the ability to pre load staff names / roles
Inconvénients :
nothing to dislike, Raildiary is quite straight forward to use

Commentaires : Overall experience is good training to use it made it sound more difficult that it is which was an initial turn off to the product. But once started using it i have no complaints.
Avantages :
The best thing is the ease of use and how much detail you can enter into Raildiary. All relevant information is there and to hand. It is so easy to but it all together.
Inconvénients :
Sometimes there is a lot of repetitive typing if you are say planning for the week. should be away of saving a more detailed report and copying the information for several reports especially if your works and labour are repetitive

A superb tool for large projects to monitor project progress

RailDiary has been a massive benefit from a client side to see the Key Insights on the project to assess live progress on the works in comparison to the programme submitted by the contractor. This has introduced a level of transparency into the project and improved working relationships and communications between NWR and JMS.
The justification sections for lost time/ progress has been of massive benefit so we can target regular occurrences and work on lessons learnt on how we can avoid these during the project.
For the scale of the scheme, this has been a very cost effective tool providing multiple functions to support the project. This includes resource allocation, project tracking, activity tracking and fatigue management, ultimately reducing and simplifying the background work we have to complete as part of our Business-as-Usual activities.
Avantages :
Live information, forced justifications for lost time and efficiencies, ease of use, ease of rectification, support team were amazing
Inconvénients :
Not much!! It would be good to be able to share the BI stuff through a business without providing access to the raildiary maybe

very easy to get to grips with and saves a lot of time at the end of your shift as your diary for the day is live and you are completing it as you go along.
Inconvénients :
nothing I really like the app and it saves alot of time and also save the use of paer
Simple but effective system
Commentaires : Increadibly helpful customer services and support. [sensitive content hidden] has visited the office on a number of times to help me intergrate the system into our way of working. We wouldn't have been able to do it without the help and support from [sensitive content hidden].
Avantages :
How quick and easy the system is to use, being able to upload doucments to be signed on site. The reports come in very handy, and the compliance leaderboard which [sensitive content hidden] creatred for us has helped boast the number of shift reports being submitted. Also, being able to set the guys up on ipads was great for getting the shift data live on site.
Inconvénients :
Honestly, I cannot think of any! Every aspect of the system is critical to our shift reporting and is incredibly easy to use.
Efficient and detailed reporting
Avantages :
Offline reporting Fatigue feature Shift planner saves hours of admin time.
Inconvénients :
More detailed fatigue data would be appreciated - if an operative is exceeding their hours, it would be amazing if Raildiary showed us where, rather than having to look through the shift records

Commentaires : My experience has generally been very good.
Avantages :
Its very easy to find certain rail diaries can filter by location which is useful can also download as PDFs.
Inconvénients :
There are few things which could be improved for e.g. there could filtering option in which all lost hours can be seen more specific filtering options.
User Friendly
Commentaires : Overall, it's perfect.
Avantages :
Adding shift records and to be able to amend entries once submitted.
Inconvénients :
When viewing older shift reports and you close the tab and reopen a new tab, it doesn't automatically change back to the most recent shift reports.

Avantages :
Raildiary revolutionised the delivery of the cable pull project for TfL. The software provided real time reporting, enabling full transparency between office and site based teams. The continuous link between the two groups enabled swift issue resolution throughout the delivery phase.
Inconvénients :
Raildiary took on feedback throughout our projects together, working swiftly to introduce added functionality where we needed. There was nothing I didn't like about the experience.
Saves time AND money!

Raildiary is easy to use, reduces admin hours and removes the risks and costs associated with relying on paper site reporting.
The website and phone app are very easy to use and to navigate. The helpful knowledge base provides thorough support on using the Raildiary software and customer support is efficient in our experience.
We will never go back to paper processes after seeing the benefits Raildiary provides us with.

Avantages :
Easy to use as I'm populating Rail dairies daily
Inconvénients :
I've been using rail diary now for around 12 months and only have positive comments so far for this software
User Support = Unparalleled
Commentaires : Overall it has been useful to pinpoint where exactly we are losing time on our projects, which is something which was not easily attributable with our previous site reporting methods.
Avantages :
After a short period of adjusting from our existing daily diary reports, Raildiary has been found to be enjoyable to use and the support from the software team has been especially responsive and helpful.
Inconvénients :
There are still some features which are yet to be developed in order to make the reporting process as easy as possible, but we are confident in the efficacy of the feedback process.
