I absolutely love the fact that Simplenote is cross-platform and self syncing. There has been a few times where notes took a little longer to sync than I expected, but not too big of a deal. The multi-device syncing allows me to access my notes with ease from any phone, tablet, or computer as long as I have an internet connection (there's an offline mode too) as everything syncs together pretty seamlessly. I also use the Focus Mode from time to time, which hides the sidebar making things more focused on the writing. The pins feature is super useful as well, using them allows you to easily find an important note as pinned notes stick to the top of the list of saved notes, new notes go below. As I've been using Simplenote for years my notes have built up and I have hundreds of notes sometimes have a hard time finding a note so I'll use the searchbar, don't know what I'd do without that - it saves tons of time. Oh and you can export all of your notes at once to a zip archive\! Love that. > > **Inconvénients**: As great as Simplenote is it could use some improvements. I wish there was an option to group specific notes together. I know the tag system attempts to do this but perhaps a way to pin a particular tag would be even more useful as it would mean not having to go through several button clicks to view notes grouped together. I like that if you want to share a note publicly you can publish it and have public link which can be viewed anywhere by anyone without the viewer having Simple note. I read some where that Simplenote developers have recommended against storing sensitive info on the app. This makes usage of the note app limited to low risk data.
