Commentaires : Mon expérience est beaucoup plus axé sur l'analyse correlative des données extrêmement fiable avec datadog en plus son tableau de bord est configurable ce logiciel est un petit bijou dans la surveillance

Avantages :

La surveillance sans agent des périphériques réseaux et son tableau de bord de surveillance personnalisable

Inconvénients :

La fonctionnalité que je décrie est que malgré la personnalisation de son tableau de bord il est moins intuitif que les logiciels similaires

Très appréciable, c'est un logiciel qui permet de gérer des tableaux de bord, de développer les applications. Il permet également la gestion de parc informatique.

Inconvénients :

Ce logiciel ne nous donne aucun inconvénient.

L'interface est facile et très pratique a utiliser et les fonctionnalités réponds parfaitement à mes besoins

Commentaires : Datadog a globalement une bonne convivialité. Il est un excellent outil de surveillance et d'analyse où il permet de déterminer les performances des solutions.

Avantages :

Je trouve que DataDog est un excellent outil pour DevOps . Il fonctionne comme une ressource centrale pour gérer et surveiller les applications et infrastructures. C'est un logiciel convivial et facile à apprendre. En outre, j'aime sa flexibilité sur les données que vous pouvez suivre et surveiller en temps réel. DataDog continue d'ajouter de nouvelles intégrations et de mettre à jour son application et à publier de nouvelles fonctionnalités.

Inconvénients :

Il n'y a rien que je n'aime pas extérieurement dans DataDog. Il est un bon logiciel. Mais je pense que le prix est un peu élevé vu du point de vue d'un individu ou d'une startup surtout qu'à mesure qu'il grandit, son prix augmente. C' est un peu cher mais la plupart des clients aiment la qualité.

Avantages :

All of Datadog's basic building blocks are top-notch. Their data ingestion is lightning fast and (usually) dependable, their graph widget is adaptable and usable in a wide variety of contexts, and they have a good track record of introducing products that combine these features.

Inconvénients :

Our experiences with Datadog support have been continuously negative; the company goes out of its way to avoid direct communication and offers irrelevant answers.

Great & rich centralized observability tool that just works!

Commentaires : I've used Datadog for several years now. It is my go-to observability tool. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

- The pricing model is too rigid. It can be expensive when you have the scale. - The pricing model can be too complicated to understand - No startup or credits offering

Effective Monitoring Solution

Commentaires : Overall, Datadog gets the job done. Through APM, tracing, infrastucture metrics and log explorer, I’m able to triage my incidents effectively. The Watchdog product is also super convenient. Its able to general catch issues/changes that may impact your business. Its very useful especially when/if you’re missing some alerts that were not accounted for.

Avantages :

The UI and UX is intuitive for the most part.

Inconvénients :

Depending on the product being used, UI can be alittle overwhelming and complex.

Commentaires : Overall, I am happy with it. The transition from ELK stack to Datadog feels intuitive.

Avantages :

Everything is packed into one platform, that makes it the single point when it comes to monitoring.

Inconvénients :

Support for Maven and Gradle is not so great. It doesn't really know how to check for actual dependency versions used in my project.

Documentation is lacking in certain APIs. Specifically, the python SDK seems to have features that aren't mentioned in the documentation for dashboards. The widgets are able to accept **kwargs that exist in the JSON definition in the dashboards, but not in the documentation

Commentaires : I've just use Datadog nearly a year and I really love it, it helps me to keep track and integrate easier with other 3rd parties like Seri Log. I can receive notification about my application via email/slack, it's very useful

Datadog the standard of logs

Commentaires : Overall, datadog is a good tool that I use within our organization's tool stack to look at logs to identify issues and troubleshoot for our customers.

Avantages :

The dashboard in datadog is very customizable, allowing me to view metrics and logs to my preference. This in my opinion, allows me to work very efficiently. I also appreciate the alerting system as it helps me catch and identify problems.

Inconvénients :

The learning curve was a bit hard to understand at first, as there was a lot of options at the start that makes it feel overwhelming.

Documentation. Mastering the product is hard given it covers so many aspects. However documentation can be improved with more samples and easier doc navigation (it relies too much on blog samples)
