The most needed features are covered with Motive's basic subscription and when coupled with a higher subscription and AI real-time dashcams, Motive leads the way as a premier partner for trucking companies. > > **Inconvénients**: We do not hesitate to use their 24/7 support (phone/chat) to better understand the product and to resolve issues. However, the best way to contact them is by phone as sometimes we tend to be less understood through the chat application and it happened several times we were left without a response for long periods of time. Few months before 2025 got an email saying there will be price increase. Wasn’t happy and I replied to the same email saying do not charge me because I won’t be renewing my subscription I no longer will be using motive. Ended up still getting charged with the price increase. One of the first to offer a free to use/ try before you buy kind of deal. It was a great way to let people experience what would soon be coming down the road in the near future for HOS compliance... Literally\! It was good back then and has only gotten better\! Fast forward to 2026, the same awesome service plus some added features that stand at the top of the leader board with the best ELD products on the market.
