Commentaires : Amazing support and the developments just keep coming.

Avantages :

Reporting on so many aspects of HR - turnover rates, surveys, 1:1's and the way it easily interfaces with other payroll systems. The recruitment function is so easy and allows multiple people to be involved in each step of the process.

Inconvénients :

I think the email notification settings need improvement

Commentaires : The solution proved to be excellent for processing payroll and managing time-off requests. Its intuitive interface streamlined the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, it made handling time-off requests straightforward, allowing employees to submit and adjust their leave easily. This not only saved time for HR but also improved the overall user experience for all employees, contributing to a smoother and more efficient workflow.

Avantages :

The time-management and payroll modules were incredibly user-friendly, benefiting not only HR but all software users. This ease of use is crucial, as it significantly reduces the time needed to submit leave requests and make adjustments, enhancing overall efficiency.

Inconvénients :

Creating various contract templates can be a bit tricky initially, as setting up different types of contracts requires some time and effort to learn. However, once you get the hang of it, the process becomes quite straightforward.

Not an all in one product - you'll still need an ATS and LMS

Avantages :

The Swag app is very easy to use especially for our employees who don't work in front of the PC. It would be great if employees could do everything off the app. Wish it would work for the learning module. The app is not entirely comprehensive. Customer support was awesome. Now it seems harder to actually get to an actual person. You're referred to HeroAI with no way to get passed it to a real person.

Inconvénients :

EH is completely let down by their learning management system which is a GO1 product. GO1 is a nightmare to use. The UI looks dated. Can't easily search for a course you've created. The reports are not useful. To get reports for multiple courses, you have to run one for each individual course. While you're creating a course and your mouse runs off the form, it completely disappears with your form. Amongst other things. The process is not user friendly. Also, the recruitment function in EH is not great so you really need an ATS on top of this. It's not intuitive. You can't preview Word documents so you really need to download every Word CV to have a look at them. Not intuitive in how you move from CV to CV. It's not a all in one system. We also use EH's sister company Employment Innovations for payroll processing. They have made multiple mistakes. When confronted the impression I get is they're always defensive. The attitude is not "No worries, we'll work together and get this sorted" but "it must be something you did".

Employment hero is amazing payroll end to end software, Only when it works

Commentaires : Experience with "key pay" was great and I myself configured and rolled out the new payroll system. It performed very well and now I have to look for something else has since "Employment hero" took over, it has been very slow and unreliable. Sometimes my staff do not get paid just because the payroll system is so slow that the pay run is not finished, and we do not meet cut-off times. Pathetic.

Avantages :

Customizable. user friendly interface, Ease of use and easy to coach to new payroll person.

Inconvénients :

Too slow, almost every Monday. Therefore, no matter how good your product is, if it's slow and frustrating, then it has already failed. It was good when it used to be called "key pay". I guess expansion cannot necessarily be sustained.

Annual leave always a day out

Commentaires : Very very attentive until you have bought it, then nothing.

Avantages :

Payroll is quick and easy. It is very difficult to get hold of anyone though - logging a support call is very cumbersome as though you are encouraged never to do it.

Inconvénients :

The support is dreadful - very difficult indeed. But the main issue is that when annual leave is booked in EH it comes over to Microsoft Outlook one day out. So if an employee books leave until 22 July, the leave is correct in EH but it comes into Outlook Calendar until 23 July. So managers have consistently wrong holiday dates for their employees.

Use to love it but now its all about the sale

Commentaires : First few years were great, great features and customization. The last couple have seen it deteriorate considerably. To be honest, I wouldn't be to fussed about the other features that were promised, such as dimensions and journals, being a mess if the support and customer service was adequate. Go with one of the others, you'll thank me later

Avantages :

It has so much potential or had so much potential. The inhouse customisation was brilliant. Use to have great customer service. It seems like each update they do makes it worse. Definitely not suited to slightly complicated to complicated businesses. I have 15 years experience in payroll and never had so many issues with getting support.

Inconvénients :

Support - Takes days, sometimes weeks for urgent replies in the payroll system. Cannot help confirm compliance when the ATO comes knocking. Basically said too bad so sad. The reporting features are terribly limited, doesn't calculate payments made in same pay periods like Xero and a lot of the other available software. Requires manual calculation of Tax, Super, Leave accruals when doing Adhoc payruns. Leaves room for human error and is thus at risk of none compliance.

Commentaires : Almost excellent in both HR and Payroll system. But like any other system, there's always room for improvement.

Avantages :

The way EH system is built to streamline the HR processes (i.e hiring, onboarding, payroll, etc). It helped us save a lot of time and resources.

Inconvénients :

the leave balances. They only recount after the payroll is done. It would help if employees can view their balances right after the leaves are approved.

Stay away from Employment hero

Nothing, its another version of quick books but you pay more

Inconvénients :

overpriced software for a quick book replica. Very bad customer service who did not even call me but closed the ticket. This happened twice and any questions asked they refer to videos. Negative, There is one small demo of the product. There is no trial period to check the product. There is a one year contract and you cannot leave once you sign up. There is no negotiations with the Employment Hero team since they dont respond

Commentaires : It supports the development of HR as a value add function. As the HR processes are more efficient and easier for employees, they tend to be more involved in the HR initiatives. Also, the information collected is reported graphically, making the analysis and decision making faster and more accurate.

Avantages :

The great advantages of Employment Hero are the excellent understanding of the HR/Payroll processes and Australian legislation; the innovation and continuous improvement of the software and the clean/user friendly layout and user experience.

Inconvénients :

I think the Performance Review process is not as developed as other features within the software. It can be more flexible and 360 degree, allowing a more robust tool to develop employees. I think if improved, it would add a significant value to the organisations. After all feedback is one of the most powerful tools of development.

Avantages :

Payroll management system and the ability to see all the labour cost at one glace in the dashboard. Love that feature.

Inconvénients :

Not able to copy and paste an employee's shift to he next day is something that bothers me a lot. Maybe I haven't found this option in the interface yet but having to search hard for something so small is not a great experience.

Don't waste your time

Commentaires : We will be cancelling our contract and looking for a different app. Overall a really frustrating experience, made even more frustrating by the fact I reached out to them with this feedback and just never heard back. For the absolutely outrageously high price it costs it isn't worth it, and there are many other apps out there for cheaper.

Avantages :

It sounds great on paper, but it is far from it.

Inconvénients :

It is lengthy and difficult to set up, the customer service team takes an average of 3 days to get back to you with answers to any questions you might have, the rostering system is clunky, the app doesn't work for staff, managers can't update rosters via the app and need to log on to a desktop.

Commentaires : We have had a really positive experience. For a well priced, off the shelf package it is very good. Service is not always available immediately but is always helpful and friendly. The experience continues to get better as the product constantly improves.

Avantages :

Great off the shelf product for managing a small to medium size business. There is enough customisation to add the features we need and all of the basic HR functions are available. The service is great (may need to wait for a reply but very helpful and friendly).

Inconvénients :

The Certification function is not yet perfect but I'm sure this will evolve with time. Employment Hero continue to develop and enhance the product.

The onboarding process, performance reviews and surveys

Inconvénients :

- Policies - the "mandatory " option; staff interpreted that if it is not mandatory, it does not apply to them and they have to knowledge it. Perhaps change to "signature or be able to remove that option."- Emergency contact should be mandatory but it is optional. - updates to the profile directly and not from the "import option" example; be able to change the job title on each profile individually. - it is not a full integration with XERO

Commentaires : Went through a lengthy sales process to get setup with an account. From there it was all downhill. Compared to our current service EH is very complicated and takes 40 days to implement. Unfortunately we're locked into a 12 month contract which we have to continue paying even though we haven't used it for a single day - gave it up 12 days into the setup process.

Avantages :

The sales website is really nice and they make it look great....

Inconvénients :

The Android app is unusable. Literally couldn't log in no matter what. Check out the reviews on the app store - lots of other users have had the same experience. Backend on the website is very complicated compared to the system we use (that we were going to move from but decided not to). Payroll and HR are advertised as a single solution when in reality there are two separate portals. It's all a bit confusing and convoluted and more expensive than our current platform. There are better platforms out there.

Practical and Efficient Employment System

Commentaires : The set up process is well worth the time invested for the efficiency that follows.
All staff have embraced it, with few problems.
The system is transparent; all documents can be signed from any location; any additional documents can be added immediately and read and signed off by staff on the same day; it also serves as great filing sytem and has the ability to remind staff of overdue certificates; licences etc.

Avantages :

The program is very time efficient; with staff using timesheets instead of manual timebooks; leave request updating on a calendar automatically once approved etc; quick facilitation of documents between employer and employee. Onboarded new employees is simple. The process from sending out a letter of offer and associated paperwork; to the employee registering without any problem before commencing with us, has been seamless. Other quality feature are reminders for expired certificates and licences; birthdays; probations etc.

Inconvénients :

Syncing to MYOB AccountRight: Currently RealHR does not sync correctly with MYOB AccountRight due to the rounding of wages. For e.g: Employee 1 gets paid $55000 per annum or $27.834 per hour. (three decimal point rounding) All employees are set up on hourly pay basis as this way personal and holiday leave etc can be entered each week. If I set up employees under Salary pay basis I cannot enter entitlements. Real HR only rounds to two decimal points and then when it syncs with MYOB it throws the annual amount of $55000 out in MYOB due to the difference in rounding and this upsets Employees when they see the change in their annual wage amount on their payslip. Time sheets: I would like to see an extra box that can stipulate if on any particular day whether the day is OTE or annual leave or personal leave or even a mix of OTE; annual leave; personal leave etc. At this stage you can only stipulate this in notes and sometimes it is easily missed.

New Zealand Employer with not standard employee working schedules

Avantages :

Pretty easy to use and some real good functionality, reporting pretty good, and thought splits between cost centers for leave pay was good.

Inconvénients :

It does not deal well with non standard employment/employees that don't work standard work weeks/works standard hours in terms of how it calculates certain leave rates and how it processes certain leave when taken, this is purely because the system doesn't look at actual days worked or actual hours worked, but only refers to work schedules setup in the system. Second to that we paid for implementation only to realise certain pay categories were not setup correctly and did not accrue leave, it has now been almost 6 week with no real solution to this problem. Support is pretty slow.

Employment Hero Review

Commentaires : The on boarding off staff has become so much easier compared to manually entering forms and employee information in the system. We also utilise the payroll feature and the payroll team we work with are brilliant too. A lot easier to collate items such as policies, collect employee documents and track their document expiry dates for compliance purposes much easier. Also much easier to track probation periods with the reminders.

Avantages :

I like it’s easy to use, the HeroShop (now My Benefits -> Discounts) is brilliant and adds a benefit for employees, issuing employee documents and on boarding them is very simple and saves us so much time otherwise spent on manual on boarding. Leave management, timesheet management very simple and straightforward. Reporting features is great too, to find out staff insights such as headcount numbers etc. Any queries I have or issues with the system the support team is very helpful too!

Inconvénients :

Occasionally when I email employment contracts to staff they have difficulty with finding this email in their junk mail / spam / inbox. Some are not able to find this at all. I usually have to then send the contract manually. There’s no way to resend the contract once it has sent, so perhaps a feature such as send a staff member a reminder email to sign their contract could be beneficial. Some staff have trouble uploading their certifications, perhaps by incorrectly dating or using the wrong document format (e.g. Not PDF). I think having more features on the phone app too would be great because majority of staff use employment hero on their phones only because it’s quicker and more convenient. For First or secondary managers, if they can lodge leave on behalf of their staff via the mobile app, I think that’d be a brilliant addition to the phone app.

Love the platform, makes on boarding new employees a breeze.

Commentaires : Time - This software has saved my sanity in on boarding new employees and now we have over 100 staff its great that they can update their details themselves.

Avantages :

Ease of use, great on boarding tool, cuts the contract time down considerably, Great task list features, good reporting functions as you can customize easily. Collates all the employee information meaning accounts aren't left to chase down these items from employees. The employees love the platform too as it has all their information for them in one place and they all love the Annual Leave function

Inconvénients :

I would like to be able to assign certain sections to other employees - for example it would be good if the accounts staff could view "Employee Bank Details" without having access to any other information I would also like to be able to amend and upload (or delete) our own contracts rather than having to go through the support team every time - Support are great if I am not in a rush as it normally take 24-48 Hours to turn around, but if I just need to alter something quickly it would be nice to add and remove myself

Commentaires : Employment Hero has really expanded our HR and payroll horizons. These systems won't get left behind as our headcount grows.

Avantages :

Having a system that's easy to implement and use is great. Pre-loaded awards gives peace of mind.

Inconvénients :

You need to really understand your Award(s) before taking the implementation journey.

Commentaires : We feel EH is aligned with our Group core values and assists to develop a strong workplace culture. Its ease of access provides us the ability to communicate with all of our employees at anytime. It really makes Payroll and On-boarding easy.

Avantages :

We like the On-boarding experience EH provides new employees joining our group. The Employee Self Service enables them 24hr access that notifies manages and payroll of any request and/or changes.

Inconvénients :

We are the 4th largest privately owned Automotive Group in Australia and would like to see EH integrate with our DMS and this option isn't currently available.

Avantages :

Employment Hero is super easy to use. The instant benefit we received was taking our onboarding and HR to a system with paperless processes. Long term I'm looking forward to have all information in one place which can easily be tracked and reported on. Employment Hero also has so many great special features, and they keep adding to the platform to stay ahead of times and provide value to its costumers. Customer service is excellent, quick response and helpful, friendly team!

Inconvénients :

The cons we are facing at the moment is missing out on some of the payroll functions as we are running payroll through another system.

Inconvénients :

Clunky to use, poor interface, integrations constantly fail, payslips issues when ever, trouble with dual roles, support desk service not inline with the contract,
