Akero's UI is well thought out and really easy to figure out for both technical and non-technical users. The constant development of the package is also very commendable. I feel like year to year there are new features that both make Akero more versatile and easier to use at the same time. In terms of specific features, by far my favorites are in the Forms section. Akero is incredibly versatile when it comes to creating and customizing lead capture forms. One of my favorite features is allowing you to choose a 'slim' embed where it comes with just the form fields and necessary JS and it's up to you to style it and really make it look like a native part of the website. Akero is filled with little features like that that just make it great for just about any use case. > > **Inconvénients**: For the most part, Akero is very adaptable and covers all basis of our business needs. One feature that I would love to see is better integration between Akero Labs and the Mailer from Akero. Currently, you can connect the two but the process isn't very intuitive and takes quite a bit of setup. There are also additional improvements I'd love to see, for example, more features in workflow creation, currently, after you set up filters you have two branch splits - if the condition is true and if the condition is false. I would LOVE to see multiple filters that all trigger a different action in the system. I think that would cut down the number of workflows we'd have to create. There are also some very small features missing from Akero that would be really useful for example a "confirm email" field that just checks that whatever is in that box matches what's in the email field. Luckily recently a new Akero roadmap has been launched where I can submit ideas and that in itself has been huge. > > We use Akero daily for a variety of tasks, from displaying lead data 'at a glance' to setting up lead capture forms, we use it for general automation (sending leads emails, adding notes to their profiles, etc), sending out mass emails with mail.akerolabs.com - Overall we use a wide range of features in Akero, and I'd like to think that we use them to the full extent. One of the most recent and biggest projects we've used Akero for is our 2020 Clearing campaign, in that alone we have multiple forms, different automation set up depending on what the lead enters in the capture form. It has been a huge help to us having all of the pre-registrations in one place and a massive change from our old system where the pre-registrations would be sent directly to our emails from the website which we then would input manually onto a spreadsheet. As well as helping us by having all of the leads in one place, it has saved us a huge amount of time. Or you will have to pay a lot more. Designing mailings is very basic, so we do this in another system and import it in Akero. > > Overall it is a user friendly system. Only on some occasions the automatic mail didn't seem to work for like 15 minutes. Usually that is not a problem, but sometimes we have a mailing with a sign up deadline and when people are late and don't receive the email right away, they cannot sign up. It is difficult to show when this happens, because the system shows the email is sent and it just takes some time to receive it. The team at Akero have been nothing but helpful in supporting the use of the software for a task which it was not built to perform but really has potential for\!
