Commentaires: Athena does two things - it assesses an individual's Values and it assesses their ability to make good decisions. It does these two things like no other HR tool available. It is incredible how accurate it is in assessing strengths and weaknesses in the 30 criteria that are assigned. Athena also identifies stress levels and triggers that can affect judgement and decision making.
Athena is not a personality or psychological test, and it's actually not a test at all. There are no questions that can be manipulated by the individual, only a series of unrelated statements. It is most effectively used by the employer that wants to make the best hire possible - that person who will make great decisions and has a great set of core values, then train that individual to be the best they can possibly be. It can be used as both a hiring tool and a management / training tool. The one year training program that works with the individual each week is an unbelievable bonus that can be used thoughout an employee's career.
Administration of the Athena tool is very simple, and results are immediate. A hiring agent can administer the test as an applicant enters the office, and have the results before beginning the interview. Information available in an instant can be a one page summary sheet, probing interview questions, or an in depth analysis of each of the 30 different criteria, all specific to the assessment of the person being interviewed.

Commentaires: The software is simple to navigate. Learning to read (interpret) the results takes some training. I believe the summarized Hiring Indicator is one of the best tools available - it 'boils down' the information in the Summary and 'weighs' the elements appropriately so that reading the results ('what does it mean to me, as an employer mean') is an easier task. We still occasionally run across perplexing reports, however a quick call to Customer Service (frankly, I speak with Barry the majority of the time) and I have a better understanding of what I'm seeing in the numbers. Always provides great personal, down-to-earth service in easy to understand language - and overall deep understanding of the tool. I've recommended them to colleagues for years, and will continue to do so.
