Whenever a new cluster is provisioned I just need to open the in-built dashboard group and select the cluster and the share the link to customer. It saves lot of time and effort. Also it has lot of APIs to automate the dashboarding and alerting capabilities, which is well suited for custom dashboards. > > **Inconvénients**: While setting up new smart agents, Due to some internal performance bottlenecks I have noticed metrics not rendered in dashboard but ingested. If the load is high atleast the data sent in agent could be re evaluated to give clear picture to users. > > Signalfx is well suited for almost all stacks and its very easy to setup. We have a medium sized kubernetes cluster and needed analytics for our entire stack. SignalFx is completely SaaS based solution with various ways to connect and forward metrics. We used the SignalFx daemonset to pipe all of our metrics. Once the data is there, that's where the fun begins. There are numerous canned dashboards and reports based on best practices. These are already useful and just require some slight customization for our needs. Pricing is per node, not per amount of data which worked for us. > > **Inconvénients**: Purely for SaaS environment, if you have infrastructure and applications that are air gapped, this is not a fit.
