Unfortunately you can't even run a report to see which subcontractors are allocated to which projects. It's not aesthetically pleasing - very old school in its' appearance. The fact that you can allocate PO's against phases - but then they don't flow on to anything at all is rather annoying. Training/help documentation is not updated when the package is - so if they change the terminology you then can't search on things which is frustrating, we have found this a bit. > > Not a bad tool for simple project management. The data transfer went without a hitch, the custom invoice template we needed was easily set up, and teaching our staff to enter their timesheets was done in minutes with minimum fuss. We are able to set up budgets easily when setting up new projects, so tracking billable hours versus budget is easily seen in the timesheets. They have even re-written parts of the software based on our feedback. > > **Inconvénients**: Sometimes when issuing invoices via Abtrac, clients using third party email providers such as Gmail or Hotmail, aren't seeing the invoice come through because they are going to their junk folder and not their inbox. > > I love how easy it is to format invoices. We no longer need to attach a separate fee breakdown spreadsheet because Abtrac allows you to format everything within the invoice itself. The ability to show both' fixed fees and hourly rate claims in the one page is very useful.
