A great alternative to the big ticketing platforms

Commentaires : Our overall experience is positive and the platform works and reports well.

Avantages :

Showpass is a local business and our company loves to work with other local businesses. We love a good alternative to the high fees of the larger platforms. It's easy to use and we can customize so much without Showpass stepping in.

Inconvénients :

We have lots of demands and some of the features are not there or slow to implement or complete.

Avantages :

Showpass is a technology first company who values relationships and new ideas. The looking glass through which they see the venue, festival, and direct-to-artist ticketing marketplace is thoroughly refreshing compared to the old monopolistic ways of a soon to be by gone era.

Inconvénients :

We would like to see their old App version removed from the App/Play stores as it is confusing to end users on which one to use.

Commentaires : Excellent, I had never set up a ticketed event before, there was lots of help, and it just keeps getting easier and easier.

Avantages :

That it is Canadian, and located in the same province as our business. Any time I have a problem, there is help right away.

Inconvénients :

There are a couple things in the reports I wish I could find, but to be fair, I have not asked and maybe I'm just not looking in the right spots.

Their client support team is very quick to respond and help with anything that we need! Additionally, they have been able to innovate and build new features that have greatly improved our event set up.

Inconvénients :

We've had a bit of trouble with scanning in the past but the Showpass team was helpful in finding solutions for our issues.

Commentaires : Great! All the events I go to in Calgary primarily use Showpass and it's nice to not think or stress about getting tickets.

Avantages :

Convienence! Showpass is super convienent for all the shows that I go to. It's easy to log in find tickets and download then even right outside venue entrances.

Inconvénients :

Logging in can sometimes be a pain, but other than that it's easy to use.

Great ticketing service for throwin concerts!

Commentaires : I have had zero issues in setting up and selling tickets, scanning tickets at concerts and payment has been very prompt.

Avantages :

Very easy to use. Staff are very helpful when things go wrong and reply to the chat window really fast. Event set-up is largely intuitive, ticket scanning was flawless. Low fees for customers, lots of fees payee selections . Emailing all guests is great. I don't know how much going into the weeds is valuable here, but I can say that this service has been excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

Inconvénients :

One of the only thing I can think of is that some of the language/terminology isn't clear at first, but the FAQ really helps with that so it's not a real issue. 1 thing I wish was clearer though is that I had to absorb a lot of fees in order to do full refunds for a cancelled event. I was told I would be invoiced. It wasn't super clear to me in all the reporting exactly what amount was what I paid. The breakdowns are numerous, there's a lot of info which is great, but that one thing wasn't clear to me. For my year end, doing my taxes, it would be nice to demonstrate that amount separately instead of it being included in the rest of the overall amounts. Support emails aren't replied to quickly, but then again the chat window is extremely fast and much more efficient for dealing with multiple issues at once, so forget that, I'm looking for flaws where there haven't really been any. None of this is really a big issue.

Showpass Is Easy To Use And Continues To Improve

Commentaires : When we first started using Showpass there were many features not yet working properly or not fully developed, but the Showpass team has listened to suggestions from their clients and have been working steadily on improving the product. Many new features have been created that continually make it easier to use the Showpass ticketing system, and I am pleased with the overall improvements. I have faith that this product will continue to improve and exceed industry standards!

Avantages :

General Admission events are very easy to set up and put on sale quickly.

Inconvénients :

Some basic features are missing for assigned seating set up (example: a proper hold feature for large events), but the development team is working on this.

- Too basic food, beverage and retail components: These could be expanded to allow for more control over the sale of items during events. Also, POS capabilities are very limited.

Great Product for Large Events

Commentaires : It works great for large-scale events. Showpass's dedicated customer service team is also incredible. A Showpass rep named [sensitive content hidden] helped me, and was so polite, and always helped me find a solution, even if my request was crazy.

Avantages :

I used this for an Airshow. The registration process and ticket scanning software made it such a successful event!

Inconvénients :

I used this for a separate event for a conference. It was almost impossible to transfer event registration to other guests because there was no way to switch job titles or company names when transferring a ticket.

Attractive and Versatile Event Registration

Commentaires : We had a successful event, and I really like the event summary that was emailed to me just before the event started so I could see how many people signed up.

Avantages :

One of our favorite features of Showpass is being able to create attractive event listings with images and font options. The WYSIWYG editor was simple to use and allowed for quite a few options.

Inconvénients :

On the administration side, the UI/UX could be better optimized so there are less "clicks" to get where you are going.
