M-Pin provided a cost effective and extremely secure cryptographic token that negated the need for the user to create an eight (or more) character password or utilise a security code sent via SMS. The M-Pin is only known by the user and is not stored anywhere, thereby further enhancing security. From a user experience perspective, the creation of the M-Pin was very easy and understandable. The authentication process was simple, with the user only being asked for their M-Pin to be input with no requirement for a username to be entered. In comparison to other authentication credential types, M-Pin was very cost effective. > > **Inconvénients**: Whilst M-Pin provides a very secure cryptographic token, it was difficult to convey to a user the extent to which M-Pin makes them more secure in comparison to alternative methods, as the cryptographic methodology is a complex subject.
