It seems like any ideas/thoughts we have for improving our SiteSeer platform (as a start-up business, we have MANY ideas). We are always able to improve our internal site selection processes in this way. SiteSeer allows us to put data and science to a process that is normally based on "gut feel". We are smarter and more informed about our real estate today than we have ever been before. Our "real estate guys" no longer have to spend days in a market trying to find the best sites for our product. Using SiteSeer, our team is able to determine the precise areas for focus with adequate demand so they don't waste their time in areas that don't work. Prospective/current franchisees, lenders and brokers are always thoroughly impressed with the platform and our ability to use data to drive site selection decisions. We probably should have a deck of business cards with Tom's contact information on it for how often we recommend it\! There are many products that claim to be a cookie-cutter solution to business needs for site selection, but none offer the support and the creativity that the SiteSeer team offers. We thoroughly appreciate Tom and Andy's abilities and willingness to think through ideas with us (and even suggest their own) as we work to enhance our product and, in turn, our business decisions. > > **Inconvénients**: A few SiteSeer functions seem a bit outdated in terms of usability. For example, the process to save/name a scenario and the inability to drag a scenario to move it to another folder. It would be nice if this structure mimicked Windows functionality, but in the grand scheme of things it is not a huge drawback for us. We would also love the ability to upload internal files/reports and customize reports within SiteSeer that refer to these documents as well as SiteSeer info to create overall reporting packages. Our business has a lot of different internal processes and we would like to ultimately be able to accomplish a lot of these items via SiteSeer. > > The SiteSeer platform allows us to make informed decisions based on data and insight that we wouldn't otherwise have. Example would be i cant just show areas with a certain threshold of hispanics or college degrees. The thematic maps in my opinion are virtually useless and in some cases limits the ability to tell a story about a trade area or region. Another big issue is that we can't import are own data like shapefiles and zoning data.
