All linear required steep learning curves and precise terminology. I found Catalogit four years ago and have now used the software for multiple uses, including museum collections and individual projects. It is easy to use, easy to teach others how to use, and can be used in the field on your phone. It doesn't try to do everything, and I appreciate that. It is veneered, so you can create a file and return again and again to add data and depth to the file. It has great connectivity between people, other files, and genres.
