I missed canceling my subscription by less than 3 hours and was flatly refused a refund despite being a long-term customer. Instead, I was offered credits I don’t want and can’t use. The lack of flexibility or fairness in handling such a small mistake has left me with a very negative impression of the company. > > I’ve been a Helium 10 customer for years, but my recent experience has completely soured my view of the company. I missed my subscription cancellation by less than 3 hours and requested a refund. Instead of applying common sense and showing goodwill to a long-standing customer, Helium 10 hid behind rigid policy and flatly refused. The only “solutions” offered were useless credits I don’t want or a transfer to another account I don’t have. I understand policies when someone misses by days or weeks, but refusing to refund someone who made a small mistake by literally a few hours is outrageous. It shows zero regard for loyalty or fairness. This experience has left a sour taste and destroyed my trust in Helium 10 as a company. Their system messed up my billing. After weeks of back-and-forth, they finally admitted in writing that their refund was "insufficient" and I am still owed money. The worst part is that their own agent instructed me to "contact my bank" to find the missing funds. I did exactly what they said. The bank initiated a partial chargeback (only for the amount I was overcharged, not even the full bill). Now they locked me out of my account for following their instructions. I have even withdrawn the dispute with the bank and sent them proof, but they still refuse to restore my access. I can't even use the service that I paid for. Helium 10 offers a lot of the same functionality of jungle scout and their overlay chrome extension is top notch. That piece of Helium 10 is what truly brought me to Helium 10, I couldn't say which is better between Helium 10's extension and Junglescout's, they do a lot of the same functions, but what I can say is that you won't find any better than those two. If you're currently deciding which ecommerce research tool to use, I would say Helium 10 definitely deserves to be in the number 1 or number 2 position, and when it comes right down to it, when you have a platform as nice as Helium 10's that rivals jungle scout's as much as it does, all that is left is preference. That being said, I am more of a Jungle scout man, but you can't go wrong with Helium 10. > > **Inconvénients**: I would say the thing I didn't like about Helium 10 (and again, this is only because i have to choose something I don't like, the platform is all-around great). Is the "success score", it feels a little under developed, I am no programmer and could be completely wrong about that. It is completely possible that I feel this way simply because I have seen Jungle Scout's niche score system, and it is fantastic, but I would say that would be one of the only cons I have had with Helium 10.
