> **Avantages**: I have been looking for software to basically accomplish automatic check-in / out for our buildings, in order to verify how much time we actually spend cleaning in each building.&#10;&#10;Most of the software we tested on the field does NOT work properly for our needs. When I tested the geo fencing / time sheets / building allocation to different staff and offline punch in / punch out from each location, most software failed.&#10;&#10;Here is what I deemed critical for janitorial:&#10;1) Staff can punch in/out of each location (when at that location only)&#10;2) Staff cannot see any other buildings in app, other than what is assigned to them&#10;3)Dashboard (on web browser) can display each building with weekly time spent by one or more staff, so I can verify weekly / monthly time spent&#10;4) Offline punch in/out - if no wifi / no cell connection, app can still punch in/out and when back online, hours uploaded to server&#10;5) app does not track staff when they are logged out&#10;6) if staff leaves geofence, they are logged out&#10;7) QR code specific to site-locations (example: to verify staff actually went to that emergency exit 6th floor staircase that is supposed to be cleaned once every two weeks, not every 6 months or never)&#10;The only app that does all this is Clean Smarts https://www.cleansmarts.com/&#10;(except \#6 - you get a geolocation violation but they are fixing this)

> **Avantages**: We liked the modern looking interface and all the functions. We were excited to track inventory and have built in checklists.

> **Inconvénients**: Constant issues and bugs. When you reach out to support they never fix the issue, say they will call back or email you, and never do. We are constantly having issues with very few being resolved. Or after being resolved, they happen again. They never call back or email back to give updates. This isn't days, its weeks and they act like we shouldn't be frustrated.

> Customer service is terrible when you have issues. Very slow to respond and resolve. Do not follow up when they say they will. We are looking at other software currently. Save your time and sanity and choose a better company.

> **Avantages**: I like the fact that I can see when my employees clock in and out. This helps me know that they are working on site and I don't have to worry or call them. The fact that I can see inspections also helps me keep track of issues so I can show the customer.

> **Inconvénients**: There are a few times that the geofencing doesn't work right. My employee will tell me that they cannot log in at the location so I have to manually clock them in on my end. Also, there are a few times when the inspections don't come into my mailbox.
> 
> My experience has been positive overall. I am happy that we use this app and it has helped give me peace of mind in numerous occasions. I would continue to use this app and recommend it to others.

> **Inconvénients**: Unable to schedule time off for staff who request it in advance. It would be nice to block time out for anyone with approved time off.

> We started with Clean Smarts once we had a couple of employees hired. Many updates and upgrades have continued to make it a robust system to help us operationally.
