c'est un outils qui me permet de savoir combien d'heure j'ai travaillé par client et combien je dois facturer

Inconvénients :

si on oublie de stopper le moniteur, il reste fonctionnel même si on travaille plus sur notre ordinateur et on reçoit pas de notification pour cela

Un suivi rapide, et facile à mettre en oeuvre après une prise en main relativement rapide.

Inconvénients :

Peut-être le prix ou même certaines actions sont payantes et c'est dommage. Notamment les fichiers excel.

Toggl Track - A MUST for Freelancers

Commentaires : Easy, friendly time tracking (and more) tool. I use it every day! Toggl Track has made me a lot of money by informing me of just how much time I actually spend on a project.

Avantages :

Toggl Track is so easy to use - a Graphic Designer can use it! And I do! It was simple to set up and get rolling. Adding clients and projects is simple. The interface makes it easy, and the Help features make things even easier.

Inconvénients :

Can't really say what that might be. I LOVE this tool and it is brilliant for my business.

Time Tracking and Reporting

Commentaires : It has met my needs well. They have been very responsive if there was an issue discovered.

Avantages :

The UI is Simple and easy to use. The built-in reports are great and provide a lot of flexibility.

Inconvénients :

My company wants me to track my time but doesn't want to pay for Toggl so I am stuck using the free version.

I've been using this tool for a while now and I love that it is super easy to track your time.

Inconvénients :

Price? In my opinion, $10 is a bit too much for me to spend personally on this. If I removed some of my subscriptions to other tools, though, I would purchase a subscription.

Toggl is my go-to time tracker, and has been for years. Workhorse SaaS!

Commentaires : Have been using it for years and years as a freelancer, and haven't ever thought to look at anything else for time tracking. So quick to track time. Reports are easy to create and I like the "duplicate" and "favorites" features. I just skim the surface these days since I mainly have one client/project, but when my freelance life was more complicated was great to be able to switch nimbly between projects. Nice historical view of my work life, too--I can tell clients how long something took very easily.

Avantages :

Bug-free, constantly and seemlessly getting improvements that are meaningful and not cosmetic. Nice reminders when you have forgotten to click time. Very intuitive UI (has not felt the need for AI!). Strong support (not that I've needed it.). It just works!

Inconvénients :

Not much here; I guess maybe that it has a lot of features I don't use so can feel cluttered. I guess the mobile app's hour wheel thing is a bit hard to use and not sure it helps much. (Don't use the mobile app much.)

Very reliant on this app

I don't like not being able to see all my workspaces on the same day. This was changed recently, and sometimes switching from one work space is clunky as it refuses to change workspace sometimes!

Totally happy with Toggl

Commentaires : Excellent. I've been using it for years and I'm happy with the free service. I have not explored the paid-for service, so I cannot comment on the added benefits.

Avantages :

The ease of adding new clients or new projects and simply starting the timer. If I forget to stop the timer, I get a reminder sent to both my computer and my phone (where I have the app loaded too), and I can then work out when I stopped the relevant work and adjust the time. Then each month, I can draw up a report showing how I've spent my time, on which projects, for which clients, etc. and send out my invoice/s. All this is part of their free service.

Inconvénients :

There is nothing that comes to mind that is a negative.

Great for Time Tracking, but the New Design and Busy Interface Led Me to Switch

Commentaires : I’ve been using Toggl Track for over 5 years and it’s been a solid tool for time tracking. However, I recently switched to one of their competitors due to the recent redesign.

Avantages :

I love how Toggl Track helps me manage clients and projects so efficiently. The Jira integration is a huge plus since I use it daily, and the iOS app works great on my iPhone. Plus, exporting PDFs is super easy, which makes sharing reports a breeze.

Inconvénients :

The biggest downside for me is the recent redesign. The interface feels too busy, and the color scheme—deep pink and purple—just doesn’t work for me. It makes the app harder to navigate. I also don’t like that I can only track time by signing up, as I’m used to another tool that lets me track without logging in. Some features, like detailed reporting and team management, are locked behind the paid plan too, which is a bit frustrating. That’s actually why I ended up switching to one of their competitors.

Couldn't work without it!

I couldn't run my self-employed consulting business without it! No excuses to track time - easy to enter. I provide my clients with detailed time reports with every invoice.

Inconvénients :

None. No problems and great, fast customer service.

Good tool but somewhat pricey

Commentaires : Overall, it's an easy and reliable tool to use for time tracking specially for small companies.

Avantages :

It's easy to use. Rarely glitches. Has several reporting and export options.

Inconvénients :

It's pricey compared to competitors. I'd also like better integration with tools like Quickbooks. Outlook's integration wouldn't always work which was a problem too.

Time tracking is no longer a chore

Commentaires : It's made time tracking really seamless and gives me brilliant data to understand how I use my time, which helps me make more robust and realistic plans.

Avantages :

Brilliant UI, increasingly easy to use with other project management software, makes time tracking not just easy but actually turns it from a chore to a really helpful time management tool. Really good to have calendar integration.

Inconvénients :

Occasionally there's a minor glitch. I'm not in love wit the colour scheme. I would like more functionality on the mobile app.

Ideal for working remotely

Commentaires : As a full-time remote employee that is constantly changing the task I'm working at, just by the arriving of an email or a phone call, this software is key for knowing where did I spend my working time.

Avantages :

I liked it has software for different platforms: desktop, web, mobile, ... and all work great. It's also very easy to create a report of my work to HR or my boss. I also like the weekly reports or the reminder when I forget to stop a task

Inconvénients :

I find it a bit tricky when you forget to switch to a different task, and find out later. I really feel like I'm cheating.

The best time tracking system

Commentaires : It has been a wonderful experience. However, I hope that they can become DCAA compliant in the US. We plan to go after government contracts and Toggl is not DCAA compliant and we will have to switch. That will be a very sad day for us.

Great timetracking software to manage multiple projects

Super easy to use and manage timekeeping across multiple different projects. Reporting is simple, and I love the reminders when I forget to turn my timer off.

No cons, I use it very basically, but it does exactly what I need it to!

An essential tool for solo workers

Avantages :

I've been using the free version of Toggl Track for over ten years. I don't pay for the extra features, only because they are not necessary for what I do (they would be useful if I used it for team work). If I were asked to pay (a reasonable fee) for the features that are currently free ì, I would pay for them, as this is a tool I use every working day.

Inconvénients :

1) The color scheme. It would really be better if it was customizable 2) Too much wasted space. It would be great if the user could select a more compact layout, so as to show more lines.

Perfect for one-woman shop with multiple clients

Commentaires : I couldn't run an effective business without it. It's easy, affordable and took a great deal of stress out of starting my own business in the middle of the pandemic. If you're a one-person shop without a secretary or a bookkeeper, Toggle Track is indispensable.

Avantages :

In 2020 a COVID-related job loss forced me to start my own small consulting business, which consists of me and my laptop. After reading the reviews, Toggl was the best, most affordable option for hourly billing. It saves me countless hours and I dont need a tech department to use it. The one time I had a serious problem with a malfunction, Toggl's tech staff was extremely responsive -- they're real people, not robots. If you need a service to track hours for billing, you can't beat Toggl.

Inconvénients :

It's difficult to add new clients with different hourly rates. Plus it doesn't allow you to automatically organize monthly client reports according to different projects, with separate subtotals for each. You have to run separate reports for each project and then combine them.

Commentaires : Toggl Track has been giving me a very accurate experience monitoring my time usage statistics and has allowed me to adopt healthy time usage behaviours which are allowing me to get all my work done within the right time. Toggl Track makes time tracking so easy and straightforward therefore helping not to spend much time tracking my time.

Toggl Track has a pro time reporting feature that gives very precise time usage statistics. It also provides automation workflows which makes it possible to track time automatically without affecting my performance. It provides real-time insights that makes it easy to evaluate time usage behaviours and help avoid time wastage.

Inconvénients :

Toggl Track work is perfect and I have not had any negative feedback about it.

Great tool

Commentaires : I use Toggl Track every day. In my business, it's vital that I know how long a project will take so I can give the client a reliable estimate as to when they'll have it back and also so I can provide them with an accurate and fair rate quote at the start of the project.

Avantages :

I am a book editor, and I use Toggl Track to keep track of the time I put in for each stage of a project - the tags are great for that!

Inconvénients :

I would love a report that gives total time per project and then per tag for each project, without regard to week or date at all. If projects run more than a week, I often have to gather and add up those numbers myself. As a freelancer, the dates/weeks don't matter to me at all.

Effective and easy-to-use

Commentaires : Really useful as a tool, I haven't explored beyond it's core functions but it does exactly what I need it for easily and effectively

It's very easy to use, very easy to add categories of how you spend your time etc and reporting this if necessary. It actually makes me more mindful of how much time I am spending on each area of marketing and making adjustments accordingly

Inconvénients :

Nothing specific- I haven't explored its more advanced functionality however (so it may have flaws I'm unaware of!
